Coventry

Coventry and District Beekeepers' Association actively encourages new members.

In spring and summer, Apiary meetings are held at the Branch Apiary on the 3rd Sunday of each month, starting at 3pm with coffee and chat before inspecting the bees.

Winter meetings are held on the 3rd Monday in the month, September through to April starting at 7.30pm. Each meeting having a talk or presentation about some aspect of beekeeping. Visitors are welcome.

Beginners Courses are nearly always over subscribed so it is wise to get your name down as soon as you decide you would like to take up this interesting hobby.

On completion of the course those wishing to join the Coventry Branch of Warwickshire Beekeepers Association and start beekeeping will be offered help and advice on obtaining bees and necessary equipment. Some items of equipment may be borrowed from the branch. A mentor will give practical advice during their first season of beekeeping.

The next course is scheduled for the weekend of 31st March 2012. For further details please contact Branch Secretary.
